Curiosity - kills the cat but builds the human!

I can't tell you how insightful it can be to realize that many of the qualities we have as young children are most needed when we are adults. As we grow older we tend to adopt some rather strange self-containing structures that we think provide us with security. Yet, ironically, curiosity gives us greater power to ward off uncertainty.

If you're not going to embrace the unfamiliar there's a good chance that you're depriving yourself of a great chance to get someplace significant to yourself.
